The following statuses may apply to a given part of the FIBO content:

OMG Status:

• In preparation: FIBO Submission Team preparing OMG specification and machine readables
• Adoption: Has passed Adoption vote and is out for public comments
• Finalization: Has passed Finalization vote and is under Finalization Task Force
• Final: Has passed Finalization process and is now a substantive OMG specification

Draft BCO Status:

• Not started: Foundational concepts exist but no financial industry model has been done
• Draft: Model mainly complete but has not had completed Subject Matter Expert Reviews
• Substantive: Model is substantively complete and has passed through full SME Review process
• Foundations: Parts of this are migrated to the OMG format as required
